Oh, Taylor Swift. I have such mixed feelings about this girl; is she country? Is she pop? Is she pop/country? Well, apparently she's country enough to be our song of the day. Taylor reads every young girl's mind; when a girl gets mad at a boy, all she wants is for him to keep fighting for her forgiveness (I have recently had this problem myself) and that's why our song of the day is Taylor's The Other side of the Door. Swift has a way of making everything running through a girl's mind make sense, and she does this through lyrics that are extremely heartfelt and not very complicated. "I said leave, but baby all I want is you to stand outside my window throwing pebbles screaming, 'I'm in love with you'." There are no crazy metaphors, no pointless similes, nothing like that; just pure feeling. Swift has a way of just making everything in her song fall together perfectly, always creating that happy ending that every girl just sometimes needs to hear about. So ladies, next time you think about throwing him off a cliff, pushing him out a window, or the less harmful smacking him in the face, take a listen to this Taylor Swift song...it might just make you calm down and change your mind.Make sure you check the song out on youtube!
